This recipe is so yummy as well as quick and easy. Serve it with a plate of your sliced home grown tomatoes.
Bacon Wrapped Chicken
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 carton (8 oz) whipped cream cheese with chives
1 tablespoon butter cubed
6 bacon strips
Salt
Flatten chicken to 1/2" thickness.
Spread 3 tablespoons cream cheese over each.
Dot with butter.
Sprinkle with salt.
Roll up chicken.
Wrap each with a bacon strip.
Place seam side down in a greased 13 x 9" baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until juices run clear.
Broil 5 to 6 inches from the heat for 5 minutes until bacon is crisp.
Makes 6 servings.
